From the moment you step aboard the Liberté at Marina da Afurada, Porto's most beautiful marina, you'll feel the gentle sway of the Douro beneath your feet as we set off from Gaia. Each boat tour lasts approximately 90 minutes, giving you plenty of time to sail under six iconic bridges, each with its own history and architectural charm. Pass by the historic Port wine cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia, where the famous rabelos once carried precious wine barrels. As you relax with a welcome drink and ambient music, your captain Pedro shares fascinating stories about the river's history, local culture and the traditions that shaped this region.
